2012-2018 International Initiatives

In 2012, 24th International President Mary Wright announced the following international service initiatives as a key focus during her administration:

  • l Adopt-A-School Program-An Educational Initiative aimed at Increasing Academic Achievement among minority students

    in an effort to narrow the Academic gap.

  • l Elder Care Initiative-Aimed at seniors, the goal is to provide quality, compassionate assistance and monitoring to participants

    with their activities of daily living, cognitive and physical fitness, stimulating communication interaction and socialization to enhance
    their quality of life and promote their independence.

  • l Water Well Maintenance-To maintain water wells built by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. in African nations.

  • l Bullying-To increase awareness and outreach around the issue of bullying in the community, and combat with anti-bullying

    measures.

  • l Healthy Living-A program that seeks to model healthy behaviors, and bring attention to the "silent killers" within the African-American

    community.
